Glastonbury & Annie Mac
Last year I had the opportunity to perform alongside the amazing HURTS with House Gospel Choir, bringing me to the famous music festival Glastonbury - an amazing experience in itself.
This year, I got to hit the main stage with none other than Annie Mac! House Gospel Choir were invited to perform with Annie again after singing with her at one of her AMP nights late last year. But the thrill didn't stop there...in fact the music stopped! I was given the privilege to have an acapella moment in the set, singing Prince's 'When Doves Cry' in front of 12,000 people - definitely a career highpoint to say the least! I'm glad I didn't turn around as I didn't realise til after that my face was projected 20ft on the backdrop! What a night, and what a moment. Forever thankful and grateful that HGC gave me this opportunity.
Oh, and I camped for the first time in my life too - which wasn't actually too bad, but I think was maybe down to the fact that it didn't really rain!
As if that wasn't enough, we went on to do our own shows on the sunday. Firstly to over 6,000 people opening the West Holts stage, then on to the Wow Stage that night. We worked hard and it was worth every single minute.
